COVID-19 Response

Our team at Howard County General Hospital has been serving on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic for more than one year. They are strong, determined, and incredibly dedicated. But, this is physically and emotionally devastating work. They need the support of our community, now more than ever.

We are grateful to the thousands of individuals, businesses, neighborhoods, and all those who have so generously donated to our community hospital this year. You stepped forward and answered the call for help.

Now, we ask for your continued support. Be a hero to our health care heroes.  Your gift to the HCGH COVID-19 response supports these critical needs;

Care for our Caregivers

Your donation supports the health and well-being of our staff, providing the resources and care they need as they care for patients. With the generous support of our community, tens of thousands of meals, care packages, and stress relief kits  have been distributed to the staff, staff respite areas have been created and stocked, and a food pantry with easy, free access to essential, nutritious foods is in full operation. Our newest initiative is an employee recharge room, designed to provide staff with a dedicated resiliency space, including mindfulness, yoga, and meditation resources.

Greatest Need

Your donation enables Howard County General Hospital to address issues right here in our community, funneling resources in new directions as treatment and prevention protocols evolve. Your support – at any level – will provide flexibility to shift response strategies as we meet the needs of our community.

Thank you for investing in our efforts to care for the residents of Howard County and beyond. With your partnership, Howard County General Hospital will continue to strive to ensure the promise of health in Howard County.
